Temp voice
A Join to Create lobby that gives each member their own voice room and deletes it once it empties.
Temp voice gives members a voice channel of their own on demand. They join a lobby channel, the bot creates a room for them in the same category and moves them into it, and once the room has been empty for a while it is deleted. Temp voice has no Premium-only settings.
Setting it up
- 01Pick a category
Run
/tempvoice categorycategory, or pick a category on the Temp Voice page of the dashboard. The bot creates the lobby there: a voice channel called "Join to Create", with a plus sign in front. - 02Shape the rooms
On the dashboard, set the room name, the member limit for new rooms and how long an empty room waits before it is deleted. The defaults work without changes.
- 03Post the owner controls
/tempvoice controlposts the control panel in the current channel. The dashboard can post it in any text channel. Members use it to manage the room they own.
Both /tempvoice subcommands need Manage Server. Running the setup again with another category creates a new lobby there and deletes the old one, after the new one is saved. Turning temp voice off on the dashboard deletes the lobby; rooms that are already open stay until they empty and are then cleaned up as usual. Epix AI can also set up temp voice and change its settings.
How a room works
- Joining the lobby creates a voice room in the lobby's category, named from your template, and moves you into it.
- Each member owns at most one room. Joining the lobby while you already own one sends you back to it instead of creating another.
- The room stays yours for as long as it exists, even if you step out and others stay behind.
- When the last person leaves, the room is marked empty. Every 15 seconds the bot deletes rooms that have been empty for longer than your cleanup time. If somebody is inside when the check runs, the room is kept and the empty mark is cleared.
- Rooms are tracked in stored records, so cleanup carries on after a bot restart.

The room name, member limit and cleanup time are set on the dashboard. The /tempvoice category command only sets where the lobby and rooms live.
Owner controls
The control panel is one message with four buttons, and one panel serves every room in the server. A button acts on the room owned by whoever presses it, wherever that member is; a member who owns no room is told to join the lobby. Every answer is visible only to the member who pressed.

Live rooms on the dashboard
The Temp Voice page lists every room open right now with its owner, who is inside, its member limit and whether it is locked, refreshed every 15 seconds. Close deletes a room's channel straight away. It only works on rooms temp voice created, never on your other voice channels.

Troubleshooting
- Joining the lobby does nothing: check that the bot has Manage Channels in the category and Move Members and Connect for the rooms.
- An empty room was not deleted: somebody was in it when the check ran, or the bot cannot manage that channel. It is retried every 15 seconds.
- A control button says you have no room: the buttons only act on a room you own. Join the lobby to get one.
- The lobby was deleted by hand: run the setup again to create a new one.
